Lions and tigers and bears oh my!
So much has happend since I wrote last. June 12 our sis-in-law arrived with only one thing going wrong and that was she used google map and it sent her the wrong way and added hours to her trip. Sat. June 13 we went to the open air market and then she and I went to some shops and to the art gallery Then we went to the driftwood art show and then to the beach to watch kite boarders. Sun. June 14 we went to the game park. these are a few of the pics she took. We took two loaves of bread and all the animals try to get in the car to be fed. Her dog Lady was fine Kelly was ok this time. Last time we went she tried to go through the window at the animals. The best part was the buffalo. last time I was in the front seat and a great big one tried to lick me. This time I let D sit in front and sure enough the same one tried to kiss her. we agree the toung looks about 12 inches long when its comeing at your face and you are trying to escape it. The rest of the week was a little sight seeing and a great visit. She left at 3:30 am on Fri. June 19. We did not get up to see her off. but she made it to her next stop near Medford OR by early afternoon and after her visit there she heads to CA.
We had a quiet fathers day but R was very happy cause he heard from all his kids. Till next time.

went for a ride

Today R and I went for a drive. There were deer everywhere! I think they were on every road and in every yard. The first few we saw I thought were fake till they finally moved. They were not in groups like we usually see them and they were not in fields, mostly they were just eating grass in peoples yards. One was in a yard and only a few feet away a man was working on his car but they didn't seem to care that the other was there. I love living in a place that a deer might just come up and say hi. I don't think they will come to our house since we live in town but I would never take them for granted if they did come visit. I guess the drive today made us really appreciate where we live. I hope everyone has a nature day to enjoy sometimes.
